AUTOMATIC CANE FEEDING SYSTEM:
YU Technologies offers the only 100 % Linear and Solid State Automatic Cane Feeding System available in the country with more than 91 installations throughout India and abroad.
In a Sugar Factory, speed of Cane Carrier(s) and Rake Elevators are manually or so called automatically regulated which invite a host of problems such as tripping of Electrical Preparatory
Devices, Fibrizor Turbine/Motor, Chute jamming and inviting uneven loads on the Carriers & Mills leading to Mechanical and Process problems.
Automatic Cane Feeding devices installed in many Sugar Factories could not perform due to improper choice of sensors viz, conductivity type of sensors which are prone to false signalling
and can not sense through bagasse pockets and also due to step control output.
In an innovative breakthrough, our R&D Laboratory developed Intelligent Sensors such as the sturdy Stepless Cane Blanket Level Sensor to sense Cane Blanket Levels in the Carriers,
Precision Linear Electrical Motor Load Sensor & its Signal Processing, Precision 2-wire Pressure Transmitter to sense the the chest pressures of the fibrizor & first mill steam turbine
accurately and Highly Sensative Infrared Donnely Chute Level Sensor. The system also boasts of a linear super smooth output card providing a soft start.
The complete system is Compact and Modular. All edge connected snap-in signal processing and control cards are mounted on a Mother Board having its own regulated bipolar power supply,
interconnections of Mother Board, I/O card and Front Panel Card are throgh Locked Flat Ribbon Connectors (FRC) to establish firm connections.
Our Automatic Cane Feeding Systems installed since 1985 are still in use and have the distinction of troublefree and smooth operations, increased crushing rate due to continuous crushing
operations and enhancing mechanical life of carriers and mills.
